A dream team proposal for a new single family estate requiring intensive Design Review Board and multi-agency negotiations on a 2.4 acre parcel assemblage in the heart of Laurel Canyon. After a years long back and forth between local council, DRB, and the Mountains Recreation & Conservation Authority (MRCA) this private homeowner decided land development wasn't for them. On behalf of the client, Whitestone negotiated the largest land acquisition by the MRCA in that area, creating an irrevocable land trust in Laurel Canyon for both Angelenos and wildlife to enjoy forever.
